This is a fun, free 2k event which you can walk, jog or run that takes place every Sunday. It is an inclusive event for 4-14 year olds but participation for all is encouraged. Equally, children and young adults who use wheelchairs are also very welcome to participate. This event is marshalled. Children under 11 need a adult with them to supervise, but the adult does not have to participate in the event.
4-14 year olds – there is also a parkrun event for those older than 14. See website for details. Those under 4 years can join in (eg. walking, in a buggy) with an adult if they are also running with someone over 4 years. Those under 11 will need an adult to come and supervise them throughout the event.

Horsham Park, Horsham, RH12 2DW. The event starts at the North Street end of the park
Free to use! But you do need to register beforehand and bring a printed barcode to get an official time.

Toilets are located within the park. There is also a large children’s play park within Horsham Park.
Everyone is welcome at parkrun. Event organisers will do their upmost to include anyone who would like to participate. Children and young adults who use a wheelchair or other mobility aids are actively encouraged to join. Contact directly if you would like to discuss this further. It is good to note that some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain.
There are a number of car parks close to the park, they all charge a flat rate of £1.50 per day on Sundays.
Horsham train station is 5 minutes away with main line links to London and the South coast. Buses run from local areas and stop on North street by the park see the Metro Bus website.
Dogs are welcome to watch but cannot participate in the event.
